It's time for the Super Bowl (ya we're not calling it the big game.  Come at us NFL!!!!), so we watched The Replacements.  Break out your teleprompters, brush up on Hoard Zinn's history of labor relations, and if your hair isn't flowing in the wind like peak Keanu, you're not spending enough time in the Baltimore Harbor. Pain heals (not with today's medical system), chicks dig scars (they don't dig being called chicks, though), glory last forever (Bruce Springsteen has a differing opinion).  Down, set, fun!!!!

IIFR E176: A Vineyard Christmas

It's been a helluva year, y'all.  So it's time to focus on family, good friends, and getting wine drunk till the reindeers come home.  That's right we watched A Vienyard Christmas.  So get ready for your Mystery Science Theater style interactive movie night.  Get the movie ready (netflix) and hit play when we say and find out if this Christmas movie will have secret murders, people turning into reindeer, and/or so many love triangles they invent a new shape (Ok, maybe we just have vivid imaginations). IIFR E175: Just Friends

We're putting the màs back in Christmas, Y'all.  That's right we watched Just Friends and it's got 'how you say' more. So get ready for questionable fat suits, explicit retainers, and more tooth paste spewing than a David Lynch movie.  So get ready to have all of life's questions answered. Like... Is the friend zone real? Is foregiveness more than saying sorry? and What are you doing over at Joyce's?   Darla!!!!!!!!

IIFR E174: Pieces of April

It's turkey time so our podders of course checked their rolodex of Thanksgiving movies and watched Pieces of April.  Remember the first rule of Thanksgiving, make sure your food doesn't kill people, second rule is make sure your food doesn't kill people, third rule is be nice to your neighbors because you never know when you'll need their appliances.  Pass the cranberry sauce. We're having mashed potatoes. Ooh, the turkey looks great. Thank you for loving me.  Thank you for being there.  Kill the turkey!!!!

IIFR E173: The Running Man

Our Podders decided to get in shape so they ran, they ran so far away, but they couldn't get away.  They also watched The Running Man.  So throw on your sleekest spandex, study up on your hexagonal decoding sequences, and figure out your favorite stalker before Damon calls on you so you don't look like a complete fool on dystopian TV!!!!  You started the movie for Arnie, but you stayed for Buzzsaw, Professor Sub Zero, Fireball, Dynamo, and Captain Freedom.  Who loves you and who do you love!!!!!!!!!

They tried to kick our brave podders off the air, but they're back, baby!! And to honor one of the greatest, they watched First Wives Club.  Here's to you Diane Keaton!!! So crank your screams to 11, put together your vision boards for revenge/world domination/ justice, and get ready for the truckasaurus that is Keaton-Hawn-Midler!!!! Evil exes beware!!!!!!!!!

IIFR E171: But I'm A Cheerleader

It's a pom pom summer, Y'all.  So keep the pride alive and head to camp (conversion?!?) with our podders for But I'm A Cheerleader. With all this talk of Alcatraz this and Alcatraz that, our podders debated hitting their heads against a rock.  Instead they wisely decided to watch The Rock.  So double check your hired goons don’t have the crazy eyes, take some dramamine for all the Bayhem cuts and swirls, and be sure to take pleasure in all your gutting endeavors.  And for the love of Zeus’ butt, keep track of how many times you’ve said Candyman (that’s one).

Hey groovy gholies, do you hate your job? Are the florescent lights sucking out your soul? Well, let our podders reassure you that a volcano is not the answer.  Yup, they watched Joe Versus The Volcano.  From the mind of the writer of Congo and Doubt (what?!).  A Man, A Mountain, a Meg, and probably a flibbertigibbet.  May you live to be a thousand years old, sir!!!!!

We live in a pulpy world: lurid, sensationalistic, and super chunky orange juice.  That's right, our podders watched Pulp Fiction.  And just like dance competitions colliding with motorcycle nomenclature, we are partnering with The Creative Alliance and their Interactive Movie Night on Friday, May 16th.
