IIFR E92: St. Elmo’s Fire

It's graduation season.  A time for change, a time for hope, a time for saxophone!  That's right, we watched St. Elmo's Fire.  Our podders dive into this classic brat pack flick to find out if stalking is cool, if there's such a thing as too much cocaine, and if being a good person even matters when you have good friends.   Boogada boogada boogada ah ah ah!!!!!

IIFR E91: Top Gun

Needing to improve their high fives, our podders watched a little instructional video called Top Gun.  So grab some volleyball jeans, sew some extra patches or broaches on your jacket, and start singing 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling'.  Don't worry everyone will join in. Google says you've reached your destination and it's smack dab in the middle of the Danger Zone!!!!!!  

IIFR E90: Commando

Feeling stressed?   Need to let off some steam?  Well, there's only one cure. Our brave podders threw away their underwear and watched Commando!!! Travel back with Arnie to 1985 so we can feed a deer, throw on some chain mail, and hang with your old friend Bennet!!!!  Let's party!!!!

IIFR E89: Keeping The Faith

A Priest, a Rabbi, and a Scientologist walk into a love triangle.  That's right our podders watched Keeping The Faith.  Can love conquer religion, friendship, and T-Bone? Also where have all the multi-religion karaoke rec-centers gone?  We need more break dancing talent shows to save them!!! Also, who knew Jenna Elfman was a scientologist?

IIFR E88: Center Stage

There is no better crucible in life than dance.  Our podders believe that someone (probably Jamiroquai) may have said that and as a result they watched Center Stage.  So bust out your favorite leotards, turn out your toes (or don't, we can't tell if it matters), and if you're going to fight, dance Fight!!!!!!! Nothing burns hotter than the stage and the stage in the center is like the best or something.  

IIFR E87: Romancing The Stone

They say April showers bring May flowers.  What they don't tell you is it also brings mudslides, Columbian adventures, and romance!! That's right, we watched Romancing The Stone.  So break out your best pair of jungle heels, study your developing country bus etiquette manual, and be sure to gas up your little mule 'Pepe'.  Also, did you hear the Doobie Brothers broke up!!!!

Today's podcast is brought to you by the letters I and S.  Can you say infinite sadness, because we watched Follow That Bird and that is all we feel.  So pack your wicker suitcase and find out all about the love lives of Sesame Street adults, the economics of carnies , and whether The Count eats people.

With Cyndi Lauper playing in the background, our podders return to the fever dream that is high school.  That's right we watched Romy and Michele's High School Reunion.  Was there as much weird dancing, super long Madonna pony tails, and crazy helicopter escapes as we remember?  Only one way to find out.  You are Columbus and I am America. IIFR E84: Blue Chips

Our podders are back from vacay and they are mad, March Mad…ness.  The only cure was to reach back to 1994 and watch Blue Chips.  So lace up some squeaky shoes, throw on a pair of Shaq shorts, and put and on a head band, we’re about to get Nick Nolte sweaty.  It's Basketball y'all.

When life gives you lemons, you just gotta dance!! With that mantra in their hearts, our Podders watched Save The Last Dance.  So grab your on-point shoes, turn your shirt into a hat, and get on down to Steps.  Find out if this movie is too legit to quit.  Our podders should know.
