Put on your best Smylex makeup, flouf your hair, and make sure your henchmen brought the big boombox.  That's right our podders became the night (knight?) and watched Batman.  And not the millennial's lame version.  Our batman can't move his neck, wears glasses, and weighs 160 lbs soaking wet.  This is 1989 Tim Burton's Batman. You want to get nuts!!!!!

IIFR E47: Nine to Five

Our brave Podsters jump in a time machine back to 1980 to take a look at life when sexism, wage gaps, and glass ceilings were all the rage.  What's that you say? These are still major issues?! Well then, Dolly Parton for President 2024, y'all!!! That's right we watched Nine to Five so bust out your best desk kimono, kick the copier, and ask yourself: What Would Dolly Do?

IIFR E46: So I Married an Axe Murderer

This week we find out love is dangerous whether you are a plumber, a lounge singer, a russian martial artist, or whatever Mike Meyers does.  That's right, we watched So I Married an Axe Murderer.  So get the honeymoon chair ready, practice your beat poetry, and make sure the bag pipers have health insurance.  Woman!!! Wo-man!!! 

IIFR E45: Dogma

Have you ever thought if god was one of us, man?  Well our brave podcasters put on their baggy jeans, puffed a jay behind the video store, and watched DOGMA. Will this violent dark comedy hold up.  Only Silent Bob knows and he's not talking.  So throw on a hoodie and a blazer and get ready to examine the dogma....oh I get it now!

IIFR E44: Clifford

They say children are the future.  Teach them well and let them lead the way.  Well, we watched Clifford and we're not so sure.  If they get their instructions from plastic dinosaurs, rock a blazer and tie, and have the lifeless eyes of a great white shark then some murder by rollercoaster may be in order.  So top off your bloody mary with hot sauce, get the hardest baguette you can find, and watch out for Dabney Coleman. It's Clifford!!!!!

IIFR E43: Coming to America

Our podders celebrate birthdays, betrothals, and sequels by going back to the original.  That’s right, we watched COMING TO AMERICA. So grab your golden toothbrushes, some McDowell fries, and how bout a cool million.  So get ready for A vision of perfection, An object of affection, To quench your royal fire, and the greatest rom com of all time. Coming to America!!!! (Also, hold on to your hats, this is a two parter combined into one.)

Splish splash we were taking a bath long about a Saturday night. That's right y'all, we watched Splash!  So break out your I heart Bosom Buddies t-shirt, your lobster bib, and most importantly bring along a bigger boat.  Avast y'all, mermaids be in these waters!!!!

IIFR E41: Weird Science

Our podders decided this is as good a week as any to ride the lightning. So they strapped on their bra hats, flipped the switches and threw the laws of god and man out the window.  That's right we watched Weird Science this week.  Put on your shower pants, remind yourself not to do certain accents, and light a candle for all those that died playing the piano.  Blasting boobs and butts and beans.  Weird Science!!!!!!

We are taking it easy this week by watching the Captain and Smee take a lovely little pleasure cruise.  What's that you say?!! They've kidnapped kids and will probably murder another?!!!
